Tiberio Bentivoglio was in Malta among us a few days ago, during the vigil held in remembrance of the seventh anniversary of the death of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
His testimony provided us all with a lesson; he gave us a taste of the courage and bravery that he and those who, like him, fight against mafia criminals and for justice, have to muster, time after time, year after year.
Repubblika expresses its deep solidarity with Tiberio Bentivoglio and his family after yet another cowardly attack that they have just suffered. Unknown persons burned down a property belonging to Tiberio Bentivoglio that destroyed an agricultural building and all the tools that were in it.
Our president Vicki Ann Cremona spoke to Tiberio Bentivoglio on the phone and expressed our support. We wish him much courage in the pursuit of his fight.
