Event Broadcast & Media Crew

Repubblika is looking for volunteers to join our Event Broadcast & Media Crew to help us record and live-stream our public events. Our events usually take place once or twice a month after school/work hours and typically last up to two hours.

What you’ll do

Set up and operate cameras and broadcasting equipment.

Live-stream events on Repubblika’s social media channels.

Add simple on-screen graphics (e.g. speaker name captions).

Carry out basic live editing (switching between 2+ cameras or including slides/presentations).

Mix sound for speeches and occasional music.

Dismantle and take care of the equipment after events.

Occasionally perform basic post-production editing (colour correction, trimming) and upload content to social media.

What we’re looking for

Commitment to help at least once a month at evening events.

Reliability and willingness to handle technical equipment with care.

Basic computer literacy — no prior broadcasting experience is required.

An interest in learning audio-visual and live-streaming skills.

Team spirit and flexibility — training will be provided.

Social Media Engagement Team

Repubblika is building a Social Media Engagement Team — creative volunteers who can help us bring our message to life online.

What you’ll do

As part of the team, you’ll:

Adapt Repubblika press releases into engaging posts, reels, and videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Attend Repubblika events, using your own phone or device to capture photos and video clips for social media.

Work under the guidance of a Social Media Editor, while also using your creativity and personal style.

Develop content for Repubblika’s official accounts, and (if you like) create personal posts to complement Repubblika’s message.

Help grow Repubblika’s online community, with a special focus on people under 35.

Skills we’re looking for

Strong writing skills — able to adapt formal press releases into short, engaging social media posts.

Visual storytelling — confidence with photos, short video clips, and reels.

Creativity & flair — comfortable experimenting with tone, style, and formats.

Familiarity with social platforms — especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.

Basic editing skills (photo and video on mobile apps is fine).

Team spirit — able to collaborate with others and take editorial guidance.

Training & Support

You don’t need to be a professional content creator. If you’re social media–savvy, enthusiastic, and creative, we’ll help you develop your skills.
