Attached to this email, you may find photos taken yesterday during the Democracy Evening hosted on the grounds of St. Aloysius’ College which Repubblika organised as the conclusion of the ‘Active and Responsible Citizenship’ competition held during this scholastic year. Over the course of the evening, students were given the opportunity to present their winning essays and posters, which dealt with various relevant themes, such as democratic rights, the free press, and the right to information. They were then presented with a selection of books as their prizes by Dr Robert Aquilina, Repubblika President, and the event’s patron, Rev. Dr Joe Borg, a well-known Maltese academic and journalist.
