The STAKEHOLDERS “Train the Trainers” project brought together participants from across Europe who share a commitment to upholding and strengthening the rule of law. Hosted at the University of Malta in Valletta, the programme offered a series of interactive sessions exploring the legal foundations of the rule of law, the essential role of civil society and public institutions, and the practical ways in which individuals can contribute to reinforcing democratic governance and the Rule of Law Cycle.
The knowledge, skills and experience gained through this programme will now be shared within communities across Europe, strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations to promote transparency, accountability and democratic values. Safeguarding the rule of law is not the responsibility of a select few—it is a shared commitment that depends on the active participation of citizens, institutions and civil society alike.
