Repubblika went to Court following what Judge Lawrence Mintoff said this week to ask the Commissioner of Police and the Attorney General to state what they are going to do on the flagrant leaks from Castille during the investigation into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
The facts on which Judge Mintoff spoke have long been known and Repubblika has been insisting on them for years. But Keith Schembri and others still enjoy impunity for vile and grave criminal actions. In some circumstances these leaks not only obstructed justice but placed police officers in greater danger.
