Repubblika notes the media reports that the magisterial inquiry into 17 Black is concluded.
First of all, we must recall that it was Daphne Caruana Galizia who exposed this secret company and its filth. We salute Daphne who paid with her life for her commitment against the corruption that is destroying Malta.
We must show our appreciation to those who fought for this inquiry to be held, particularly Dr Simon Busuttil, David Casa and Dr Jason Azzopardi.
We take this opportunity to warn PM Dr Robert Abela that we will resist any attempt he will make to remove our right as citizens to request a magisterial inquiry where we see filth. Without this right, no such inquiry would have been held.
We will be closely following the next steps and ensuring that justice is done.
