Our kindest interpretation of their statement is that the Commission is woefully ill-equipped to identify what constitutes both misogyny and hate crime, surely fundamental to its ability to operate effectively. At worst, it indicates yet another example in a very long list of the state-sponsored persecution of anyone who dares to criticise\u00a0the inadequacies of the government and its operators, irrespective of their gender. We would go so far as to say that such a gross mischaracterisation of a journalist and frequent government critic is dangerous and illegal in and of itself.
